In my emails, I generally talk about psychology and neuroscience, but today’s edition is a bit different. It’s a little behind-the-scenes look at my biz.
I’ll begin with a confession: copywriting is my weak spot. When I started my business, I was afraid of selling and pitching anything. I’ve now come to a point where I do pitch offers (because I have to survive somehow after quitting my job), but it still feels awkward.
Copywriting and selling are something I need to get better at, and I’ll tell you how I plan to do it (& you can join me if you want to!).
The current state of my business
I’m currently pivoting away from ghostwriting and mainly focusing on my personal brand.
With my Psych & Neuro journey, two kids, and a move across the ocean, I have too much to say to just stay in the shadows writing for other people.
As you may have noticed, Medium is going pretty well for me, and it’s currently one of my main income streams. But with the platform being rented land (just like social media platforms), I need to get better at building and selling my own assets.
Here’s where the copywriting comes in.
My strategy to get better at copywriting
I’ve heard from several master copywriters that an important part of their learning process was to hand-copy successful sales letters. It makes a lot of sense because handwriting activates more widespread brain networks than typing, and it helps you think and remember better.
But as with any skill you want to learn, you should have a daily plan to work on it, and that’s exactly what my friend Gasper created: A 30-day copywriting bootcamp inspired by Gary Halbert, one of the best copywriters ever. And yes, it involves a lot of handwriting.
I will definitely take this course, and because of other commitments, I’m planning to start it in July to finally learn copywriting.
This bootcamp could easily sell for $200+, but you can get it inside of Gasper’s Rebelpreneurs Skool community, which costs $25/month and offers a lot more than the 30-day copywriting challenge.
Here’s a community walkthrough from Gasper (where he doesn’t even mention the copywriting bootcamp yet because he just added it this week):
I joined Rebelpreneurs in October 2025 but have only recently become active there, and I can already say it’s the best community I’ve been in so far.
If you’re building digital products, writing online, or still figuring things out, this is the kind of environment that helps you, thanks to community support, hands-on advice, and tools like the copywriting bootcamp.
You can try the community risk-free for 7 days to see if you like it. If you sign up now, you can get it for $25/month ($149/year) and lock in this price forever. Tomorrow, the price goes up to $29/month ($200/year).
Bonus: This week only, Gasper is donating 34% of the money from new community sign-ups to a charity in Slovenia that helps kids from low-income families experience a sea vacation for the first time.
I’ve been in a few communities already, but this is the one I like the most so far. People are super supportive, the materials are high-value, and Gasper is pouring his heart and soul into the community (unlike in other communities I know, where the people who run them are often absent or just post without interacting with members).
I cannot recommend it enough if you’re serious about your business!
Hoping to see you inside Rebelpreneurs soon & learn copywriting together,
Patricia
