Hello!
Some of you might have wondered why there was no ATP newsletter yesterday, as I usually send them on Mondays.
But after reading the title, you probably know why: Itās ATPās anniversary no. 1! Exactly one year ago today, I sent out the very first issue.
While the first issue went out to just a few subscribers, there are now 1.7k psychology and neuroscience enthusiasts who receive each edition. And all this despite me not even having a lead magnet!
Iām beyond grateful to each of you, and itās wild how far you can get with a simple science newsletter.
It wasnāt always easy, and especially the first issues were hard for me to write. I started this newsletter when I was still in my university job, so finding the time and energy to write was often difficult. It helped me to have fixed weekly slots in my calendar for topic research, writing, and editing.
Now, a year later, I can definitely say that the effort was worth it, and even though the āgurusā š¤¢ repeat this over and over, you can trust them on this one: Your email list is the only thing you own. Your success on any platform (be it Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Medium, or whatever) can be over at any time because youāre on rented land there.
I want to keep this one short, but Iād really love to hear from you:
Which topics have you enjoyed most so far?
Which would you like to know more about?
Is there anything youāre struggling with personally and feel like psychology/neuroscience could help?
Let me know your thoughts and questions. I read every email and try to reply to as many as possible! š«¶
And again, thank you for being here. I appreciate you!
Thatās it for today!
And now?
If you find my newsletter valuable, you can support my work by buying me a coffee. ā Itās how I keep this newsletter free.

Until next time!
