Blue spaces (coasts, lakes, rivers, etc.) have a strong effect on how you feel.

And if you’re building a business, you already know that how you feel influences your concentration, creativity, decision-making, and a lot more.

What the blue-space research says

In one study with over 20,000 participants, the researchers found that people reported significantly better well-being in natural (green or blue spaces) than in urban environments, and marine/coastal locations performed especially well.

Another group of researchers showed people images of natural and urban environments. People rated scenes more attractive and more relaxing when they included water elements. The most preferred environments contained only natural features, but even a built, urban environment received better evaluations when it contained a water feature.

But what happens in your body when you look at water?

The 100-second effect

Coss and Keller measured their participants’ blood pressure and heart rate in different natural and built contexts and also asked them about their subjective well-being.

Results revealed that just 100 seconds of viewing water reduced blood pressure and heart rate, indicating physiological relaxation. Participants also reported feeling significantly more relaxed after looking at water than after viewing other scenes (including a wide green space). The calming effect of water even worked when looking at an artificial swimming pool.

The lesson: Looking at water calms you down. It’s a terrific tool you can use to feel better.

Why I’m telling you this (and what it has to do with entrepreneurship)

I’m sharing this because I’m part of a Skool community called Rebelpreneurs (run by my friend Gasper). I joined in October 2025, and after being more active recently, I can honestly say: it’s the best community I’ve been in so far.

If you’re building digital products, writing online, or still figuring things out, this is the kind of environment that helps you thanks to community support, hands-on advice, and tools.

Apart from the great vibe and the supportive community, you get:

  • Regular masterclasses with top speakers (we just had one with 7-figure copywriting legend Andrew Gould, who’s also a regular community member and casually drops in to share his wisdom)

  • A 7-day challenge to build your digital product with the help of AI (I haven’t tested it myself, but others are raving about it and making serious money from it)

  • A Gary Halbert Copy Camp: A 30-day bootcamp and must-have for everyone who writes copy ($200+ value)

  • Gasper’s 40 Top Custom GPTs (which he previously sold at $197)

  • …and a lot more.

You can try the community risk-free for 7 days to see if you like it, and if you decide to go on the paid plan, you’ll unlock all the content listed above in your second month.

And the best part is, if you sign up this week you can get it for $25/month ($149/year). Next week, the price goes up to $29/month ($200/year), but if you join us now, you’ll lock in the lower price forever.

This week only: the “blue space” connection

You might be a little confused about what Rebelpreneurs has to do with the blue spaces we talked about before.

Here’s how the two relate: Gasper turns 34 this Thursday, and this week he’s donating 34% of the money from new community sign-ups to a charity in Slovenia that helps kids from low-income families experience a sea vacation for the first time.

So if you want a strong entrepreneur community and help fund a blue-space experience for kids who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to go to the sea, join us now before prices go up next week!

I’ve been in a few communities already but this is the one I like the most so far. The group is super supportive, the bonuses are high-value, legends like Andrew Gould casually drop in to share their wisdom, and Gasper is pouring his heart and soul into the community (not like in other communities I know, where the people who run them are rather absent or just post stuff without interacting with their people).

Hoping to see you inside soon,

Patricia
